A beautiful hotel, thoughtfully decorated with lovely gardens. The spa was gorgeous, the food was lovely with plenty of choice and the staff friendly and helpful. We brought our dog and found the hotel well set-up for dogs with them allowed in all areas aside from the spa (which is understandable). They even left treats for the dog in the room! Our room was kitted out with a fan and an air con unit which for a hot weekend was helpful. We explored Bath, Freshford and Bradford on Avon very easily from this location. We would definitely consider returning.

The main reason for giving 10/10 is the exceptional service received. Reception and the restaurant teams were absolutely faultless and had a really personal vibe. We would book again based on the experience & the fact they also went the extra mile for our pup! Also it’s rare to find outdoor jacuzzi pools that are actually warm enough so never change it, it makes all the difference at a spa :) also amazing food/chef.

Spacious room with comfortable large bed. Windows were able to be opened to the garden and fresh air. Ample storage space and good sized TV. Bathroom was roomy with good hot water supply. Great hairdryer and bathroom amenities.

The hotel is located in a beautiful estate. It has spacious gardens where you can sit and enjoy the tranquility. Our unit was well-sized and included two rooms which enabled us to stay together as a family while it didn’t feel crowded. The rooms were very clean, the beds are very comfortable. There were complementary tea, coffee and even yummy brownies! The heated pool is lovely as is the jacuzzi and they are open 12 hours which gives you lots of flexibility in terms of when you want to use them. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choice. We also booked dinner at the Olio restaurant which was delicious. The dining conservatory is gorgeous, overlooking the estate and surrounded by beautiful plants. We also did lovely walks, departing from the hotel by foot - highly recommended! (there’s a helpful booklet in the room with a map and suggested local walks).

The food in the restaurant was excellent, I would say better than Angela Hartnetts restaurant in Limewood hotel ( the new forest)all of Homewood food for the restaurant is grown on the premises too. The breakfast was good value, with many options. I didn’t use the spa as all appointments were booked. The facilities with the spa looked very nice but the main pool was outside and a smaller hydro pool inside. More appealing to me in the summer months. All staff were friendly and accommodating. The views from the hotel were stunning.

Spa- pool good temperature. Availability of beds and towels excellent. Breakfast- good variety of food to choose from. Food excellent. Room- we had a junior suite which was lovely. Tea and coffee and water supplied on a daily basis. The weather was very warm and provision of fans in each room kept the temperature cool in the room suite Staff very friendly and helpful. had dinner in the restaurant on two nights. good value for money and food was very nice. Snacks, extra water and milk available from reception for guests. Plenty of parking. Grounds lovely to walk about

The staff were really friendly & helpful, we were shown around upon arrival and our room was ready early! The room was beautiful, clean and had everything you could possibly need (including Smeg kettle & coffee machine). There were brownies in our room upon arrival which was a lovely gesture too! Bed was seriously comfy, we both had great nights sleep. The spa facilities are on the smaller side to some others we’ve been to but still perfectly useful with everything you could need: outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor swimming pool, indoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room & plenty of seating indoors/outdoor. The spa is also really well kept, tidy & clean. It is about 15 mins away from Bath so we tied our stay in with visiting Bath for the first time. There is also car parking which was great. An all round lovely experience, we couldn’t fault it!

Everything was wonderful but our main takeaway was how exceptional the service was. Everyone was so friendly. We loved how dog friendly the hotel was too. Spa was lovely. Food was delicious. Would come back!

The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We took our labrador who was very well catered for with a bed provided which he found very comfortable and a little welcome with treats, poo bags and a ball. A water bowl was also provided. Breakfast was very good, we had a yoghurt to start, english breakfast and coffee. I would recommend this hotel to everyone looking stay in the Bath area.
